Young Equestrians Sports Club:
The club takes place on Fridays from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and is aimed at young people aged 14 to 25. It’s a programme that is sponsored by Active Gloucestershire and the cost is from £5 per session. The aim is to introduce young people to a variety of sports and to get active. Huge fun!
UKCC Training Venue:

BVEC offers Further Education opportunities for young people through the government apprenticeship training initiative. Apprentices work towards a City and Guilds in Riding and Horsecare. If you interested please contact Leanne at BVEC.
PRA Training Schemes:
This is the Pony Racing Authority Youth Training scheme. The PRA Youth Training Scheme is for children who do not own their own ponies and are unable to participate in pony racing due to financial or circumstantial reasons.
You will need to:
• be aged between 11 and 14 years old
• have a basic standard of riding and be able to canter in a riding school
• really want to have a go at pony racing
• show commitment to the course
The courses are fully funded and includes hire of ponies and equipment but each rider will need to provide their own safety equipment including a riding helmet, body protector and riding boots.
