Our Services

Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre is a friendly, professional riding establishment in the heart of the Cotswolds.

We offer scenic rides around the picturesque villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter. We are immensely proud of our kind, good natured horses and offer riding for everyone – from complete beginner to the more advanced. 

Tuition is delivered through our Saturday Club, where the children learn how to prepare and look after the ponies as well as learning to ride both in the arena, out in the open and how to be safe on the roads. In house competitions add some fun and something to aim for, keeping them engaged and interested. During the holidays we have “own a pony” days where the children have both a lesson and a hack, with lots of hands on experience inbetween!

We are fully insured and licensed with Cotswold District Council Licence number C/22/00601/ANIMAL

Our horses have been used by the media on many occasions as they are pretty cool with cameras and all that comes with them. They have appeared in Countryfile, Britain by Bike, BBC Real Rescues and many Japanese holiday programmes. They have also appeared in numerous corporate promotional DVDs and publications too, such as Countrylife Magazine, Cotswold Life, Ordnance Survey Maps, The Times, Daily Express, all local press and even on the Radio!
