Our Location
We are on the main A429 Stow Road/Fosseway, Bourton-on-the-Water. GL54 2HN. Some out of date Sat Navs may try to send you to the back end of our farm - IGNORE THEM! Our entrance is off that main road

We are almost opposite the Coach and Horses, the sign on the road is Hawkstone Brewery and you will see our sign, in white, as you turn off the main road and through the first set of open gates. Follow the arrow on our sign directing you up our track - our gate is the wooden gate on the right. Please pull right up to the automatic gate - it opens inwards!
From the North (Stow on the Wold direction)
We are the last gateway on the right almost opposite the Coach and Horse Inn, before the traffic lights at the Bourton on the Water turning. Beware, the traffic can become very congested around Stow on the Wold, if coming from this direction budget an extra 10 minutes to your journey - especially in high season!
From the South (Cirencester direction)
We are the first gateway on the left after the traffic lights at the Bourton on the Water turning.
PLEASE READ!
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 minutes (20 minutes if a group of four or more!) before your ride time to get paperwork completed and hats and boots fitted. There are often other visitors on your ride so we CANNOT hold them up for you, and often there are bookings after that we need to get back for. No shows and missed rides are charged for in full.
Please take care and drive SLOWLY up the drive which has a unique traffic calming surface!
On Arrival
You can drive right up to the stables, but please park in the parking area and not onto yard where there is a mix of children and animals!
We have dogs loose on the yard – please just ignore them and they will ignore you but if you are worried about dogs please let us know in advance and we will shut them away. PLEASE do not bring your own dogs onto the yard – it is our dogs’ home. There is a parking bay on the right just inside the gate as you turn in for vehicles with dogs. One of the collies (Toad) will beg you to throw things for him - PLEASE DON'T! He is in training NOT to - even if it is just a bit of rubber, you will get him into trouble. Give him a tickle behind the ears instead 🙂
Please wear old clothes which you do not mind getting dusty and full length trousers so that you don’t chaff your legs. We have hats and boots you can borrow free of charge. If you prefer to wear your own footwear, wellingtons or stout walking shoes with a small square heel are acceptable.
Any photos taken of you on your ride will be uploaded here for you to save free of charge. Photos will remain for a minimum of a month.
